Welcome to the new Equipment Depot, one of the premier forklift, material handling and aerial lift equipment companies in North America. Our 1,750 employees sell, service, rent and provide parts and training for the leading brands of forklifts, aerial lifts and construction equipment. We represent more than 40 quality equipment brands such as Cat Lift Trucks, Nissan, Clark, Genie, JLG, SkyTrak and New Holland. 

Equipment Depot is actually five different independent operating companies strategically located throughout 12 states … from the Atlantic shore to the Great Lakes, from the Ohio River valley to the Rio Grande and the Gulf of Mexico. Each operating company has a different product mix and its own unique approach to its market. All of the companies were acquired by Pon North America over the last ten years. Pon is one of the world’s largest family owned businesses.

In 2008 these companies elected to begin marketing under one common brand name, Equipment Depot, to better reflect their ability to offer customers more choices of new and used equipment, expanded services in more places, and better access to national fleet services, rental equipment, parts inventories and training expertise. More innovations, more solutions, more value – but still one customer at time.

While each company still makes local decisions they all draw on the financial resources, experience and innovations from all of the operating companies in the group. They can select from a short-term rental fleet of more than 5,000 forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, skid steers and backhoes. With more 800 qualified and trained service techs Equipment Depot in uniquely positioned to take care of the more than 25,000 customer-owned units under service contract.

Each of the five companies contributes to Equipment Depot a rich heritage of providing outstanding customer service and product support in their respective markets for at least 35 years or more. Each of these family-owned companies was a leader in their markets. Each company took pride in the honesty, integrity and reliability it brought to customers. Central Texas Clarklift was the first company to adopt the Equipment Depot brand in 1997. It has grown from two locations to become a powerhouse for forklift, construction rentals service and parts throughout Texas. With its expanded footprint today Equipment Depot covers nearly 25% of the nation. Our people are prepared to make a difference for you today and continue to be a value partner far into the future.
